Does the EFIS have serial NEMA ouput capability?
Can the EFIS "push" the database radio freq. to an SL40 or A210 radio via the serial NEMA output like a 496 does?
Thanks,
Stan Blanton

Hello All,
I belive I lost my push to talk button and mic which has a coiled wire about 2 long and an adapter taped to it, in the Lookout LZ Friday 8.11. Please give a call if you have found it, thanks: 970 729 0078

Rob,
Im thinking more of the radio frequencies associated with an airport that come from the database whether the database accessed would be the 430 or the AFS as opposed to actually tuning the radio.
My understanding is that if you have a 496 and SL30 the correct freq. list will display as you near different airports.
Doesnt this list get transmitted via NEMA vs. the "aviation" format that a 430 sends out?

| Yes the EFIS will output a NMEA signal. The radio tuning is not in NMEA data, it is a Garmin format that we currently are sending if you select SL30 mode. We are working on the software to actually let you select the frequency from the EFIS. |
